Senaru Crater Rim (2 Days 1 Night Package)
When you arrive in Lombok, whether through the airport, port, or other locations on the island, our team will convey you to the hotel we have reserved for you in Senaru using a private vehicle. When you arrive at the hotel, you will be greeted by our trekking guide and then instructed to settle into your room. At the hotel, our guide will explain the standard operating procedures for ascending Mount Rinjani, including waste management, safety procedures, and prohibited items. This package includes gratuitous transportation (pickup and dropoff) prior to and following the climb of Mount Rinjani.
ITINERARY (Departing from and Arriving in Senaru village)
Day 1: Enjoying Sunrise at Senaru Crater Rim with views of the 3 Gilis and Mount Agung in BALI
- Having Breakfast at 6.30 a.m. at the hotel
- Checking in at the Gunung Rinjani office at 8 am
- Climbing for 1 hour to Post 1 (915 m above sea level) from the main gate of Mount Rinjani National Park. Throughout the treks, you will enjoy tropical rainforests.
- Having Lunch at post 2 (1,500 m above the sea level). The climb from post 1 to post 2 takes for 2 hours, including breaks.
- During lunch, you can see black monkeys hanging on big trees, and hear the sounds of various birds.
- Continuing climbing to post 3 (2,000 m above sea level) at about 1 pm or after lunch. The time taken from post 2 to post 3 is 2 hours.
- Resting at post 3, while enjoying biscuits and soft drinks.
- Then, continuing the climbing to Senaru Crater Rim (2,641 m above sea level) for 1 hour
- Arriving at Senaru Crater Rim at about 4.30 pm
- Seeing the beauty of Segara Anak Lake and Mount Baru Jari. Mount Baru Jari is located in the middle of Segara Anak Lake.
- At 7 pm, our guide and porter will provide dinner for you.
Day 2: Enjoying the sunrise with views of Segara Anak Lake
- Having Breakfast while enjoying the sunrise with beautiful views of Segara Anak Lake and the peak of Mount Rinjani.
- Walking down at 8 a.m. to Senaru village. It is a 5-hour journey
- Having Lunch at post 2
- Arriving at the main gate of Mount Rinjani, then driving for 15 minutes to the hotel by car.
- Preparing yourself at the hotel for your next destination, the driver will take you to your next destination as a part of our last service. Please note that the transportation after the climb is already included in the package price.
